Owner Michele had a calling from God to open a coffee shop for the community she loves. The building that is now home to Common Grounds sat empty for years, until one day she looked through the window of the abandoned building and knew that one day it would be a coffee shop. After almost a year of hard work and renovation, Common Grounds opened along historic Route 66.
